APCO Degree Options

Regardless of which program you are taking as your major (with the sole exception of Compter Science itself), you can choose to take a Minor in Applied Computing. On the other hand, if you just need a few more courses to obtain your degree, APCO 1P00, 1P01 and 1P50 are excellent candidates to fill these gaps, and improve your employability.

As of September 2006, the only degree option for Applied Computing, is a minor.

Minor in Applied Computing
This minor can be added to any program by achieving a 60% or higher, in a minimum of four full credits from a selection of the following half-credit courses:

NOTE: This minor is distinct from your major or combined major, and requires at least four credits from the preceding list. Obviously you may not use the same course(s) to satisfy both the major requirement and the minor requirement.

Please note that all prerequisites to these courses must also be satisfied.

If you want more detailed information in Applied Computing or you may want to consider changing to a Computer Science Major speak to the Student Support Coordinator in room MC J332.
