'JAMO' - THE TAEKWONDO FIGHTER

Special thanks to Georgi Nikolov for being so good at criticizing my work and by doing so helped me make it better.

Another special thanks to prof. Ross who gave us the freedom to choose our own topic for this project.

Kukkiwon - Korean organization for promoting and supporting the taekwondo as a sport and a way of living. Lots of information can be found on their web site. I used their movie on poomsae 1 as a footage when animating Jamo and also the dobok sound effects in the final animation.

Poser 7 - easy to use application for creating 3D characters and bringing them to life. Great interface and very intuitive to work with it but one need to be careful when doing animations because the program tends to have destructive behavior at times.

Vue 7 xStream by E-on Software - creating the envioroment for the animated 3D characters. Its quite easy to import Poser figures and work with them. Extremely powerful application! The best part is that they have the trial version that is free of charge but watch out for the watermarks. The gorgeous lake house in the animation was part of the predefined objects in Vue 7 xStream.

Adobe Premiere software - powerful application for putting various video and audio files together into one complete film. I used it to apply the sound effects to the animation and also to include some titles.

Virtual Training Company (VTC) - great resource for learning about the applications out there (Bryce and Poser in particular). There are mostly video tutorials. The monthly subscription costs a bit of money but it is worth it.

The Renderosity community - rich source for all kinds of 3D models, textures, landscapes etc. I did not use any of the models but rather the forums. There is lots of information at this place and if you have a specific question about any 3D application usually there is always someone to answer it.

FindSounds- this place have many sound effects that can be downloaded for free. Its like the Google for sounds! I got my ocean sound effects from there.
