Brock Computer Science
December 9, 2011 - Computer Science Fair at Brock University
The annual Computer Science Education Week is an
initiative to expose students, particularly in grades K-12, to computer science education. This year
the event takes place in the week of December 4 to 10, 2011. Many
Canadian universities and colleges
support this initiative by offering various activities intended to get students excited about Computer Science.
The Computer Science Department at Brock University
is participating by holding a Computer Science Fair on Friday, December 9, 2011. High
school students (main focus are grade 9/10 students) are invited to come
with their teachers to Brock University in order to explore
various areas of Computer Science. The day will include 3 sessions where
faculty and senior students will guide the students through hands-on
projects.
