What do you need to get started?

  1. Enthusiasm!
  2. Medical clearance
  3. Zone membership. Ask for a pass to try spinning first!
  4. Stiff soled shoes/runners. Eventually proper SPD-compatible cycling shoes really help
  5. Water
  6. Workout attire. Padded cycling shorts or a gel seat cover will help initially, but not essential
  7. I can arrange a personal demonstration if you're apprehensive! The music and exhortations emanating from the Spin Floor in the Zone should not be intimidating. Each participant is working to his/her potential and the effort can be extreme for the experienced spinner, but the neophyte can enjoy the class just as much!
