If the deliberations show that no academic misconduct could be proved, or that there was reasonable doubt, then nothing is reported to the Dean. The student receives a letter from the Department explaining the result (Letter to Student, no sanction, in Word or RTF). The holds are released, piece of work returned and marks entered.
