MSc Positions

Graduate positions for MSc students starting in September each year. In some exceptional cases I may consider a January start date.

Potential candidates for MSc should have a degree in Computer Science or equivalent with high average and strong mathematical background.
Undergraduate study/project in a topic in artificial Intelligence is a major plus. Interested candidates will work on a topic related to computational intelligence
(Genetic algorithms/Genetic Programming, Evolutionary computation, Neural networks, Ant-based algorithms, Particle Swarm Optimization, Applied Intelligence etc).

Financial assistance is available from research funding and Teaching Assistantship.

Interested candidates should apply officially. Please see the departmental website on graduate studies for details on the application process.

Applicants are encouraged to contact me through email (bombuki@brocku.ca) at the time of application.
I thank all applicants in advance for your interest in my research program.

RA Positions

Typically one summer RA (research assistantship position) available to Brock Computer Science students only. Preference given to 3rd/4th year students, but
exceptional 2nd year students can also qualify. Must have an A average major with an interest in AI technology.

Funding for RAs is available from research funding and sometimes NSERC USRA competitions.
