Stage 3

(Due date for assignment is Monday April 24^th noon, No Lates Accepted )

Stage Description:

Performance is to be measured and evaluated on a rank system, to be evaluated by the TA and instructor to determine the CMS robustness.

Test Criteria:

Each team will submit their project.

Each project submission will include a preliminary user manual which is to include a description of the implementation features of the CMS.
What is the CMS capable of doing.
What novel widgets have you implemented.
Think of it as a sale brochure. This will be used during the testing phase to determine fidelity of the system.
Once all systems have been submitted, they will undergo a rigorous testing.

Stability testing, if your system crashes that is bad.

If it crashes many times, that is really bad
If it does not run, 4F00 is being offered next year.

Feature testing, capabilities of the system
UI testing, this is a highly UI intensive project, so expect marks to be allocated toward ease of use and user creature comfort.

SRS Update (15%)

Produce a revised SRS with changes clearly specified. Any changes which are specified should be done so using a change request and logged using the logging template.

Marking

TA will conduct a series of evaluations completing a rubric which attempts to assess the state of each project.
Instructor and TA will rank projects.
Ranks will be posted below with the Awards.
Awards may be adjusted up or down by several percent based on class performance and individual performance.

E.g. It may be determined that the state of several projects should be awarded 5% due to severe performance issues.
E.g. It may be determined that the top 2 teams are very close and the instructor wishes to boost the place 2 ranking.
Crashes are the major cause for rank reduction.

Submission

A 1 page document which states access to the system for the TA to gain access and fully evaluate the system. Non available systems will be deemed non functional and thus get 0%. Please ensure you test your system access. To be submitted with group cover page to my office J324.
