COSC students excel at ACM programming contest

Congratulations to Brock's 3 teams who participated in the ACM Programming Contest this past weekend. Brock competed in the challenging East-Central North America region, which included 133 teams from Ontario, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Indiana.
Team Aleph-naught Solutions (James Hughes, Ethan Jackson and Nik Unger) finished 12th overall (4th locally). Team Bogo Sort (Blair Holden, Angelika Robidas and Chris Thompson) finished 43rd overall. Team C++ (Adam Balint, Joshua Bingleman and Keiran Brown-MacFayden) finished 78th overall. The list of teams we beat out includes teams from Waterloo, Michigan, University of Toronto, Notre Dame, Purdue and Western Ontario.
