CSound Compilation

by Sarah McCaffery

This compilation is made up of several different parts, each part having it's own inspiration.

Part 1: A few seconds are dedicated to making a similar sound as some old tapes used to make when they started. A simple signal with ascending pitch

Part 2: "lalala-lalala" - This comes from a VeggieTales video...kinda funny if you know what it's referencing.

Part 3: Grainular Synthesis. 4 different samples. The first was made to sound like rain and the second and third sounds like night time at a pond. The last combines rain and night.

Part 4: This section uses a serious of notes I came up with and havn't been able to get out of my head for years. Started by using pluck to sound like a guitar playing it. Then adding in other sounds as I use my pluck-grainular synthesis instrument to play it. The grainular synthesis in this section uses a recorded version of the original pluck sequence of notes.
