An Insult to Rock

An insult to Rock is my COSC 4V98 CSound composition.
I was inspired by real musicians and also some fake ones. Also I think sleep depravation.
The intro, clearly, is from Don't Fear the Reaper, and includes recommended doses of cowbell
Then comes my poor attempt to transcribe the solo of stairway to heaven into CSound. Most of it is there, and if you don't enjoy it you're clearly not going to enjoy it.
In order to do this, I sat down and put the musical notes into Macaroni, which is a 4V98 project from a previous year which has a nicer interface than sound frequencies
You may notice a different kind of sound during the harmonic solo, this is a granular synthesized instrument I call "a granular synthesized instrument"
Following this is a rim shot and then comes Tenacious D, Rock Satirists. I carefully censored the verse due to obscene content
Then, to finish it off, a harmonic sequence of several octaves of the same note (A) to show how they can be played together.
