Conclusion -
The Maya software used in the creation of the animation was very powerful and after a bit of a learning curved proved not to be that difficult to operate. Unfortunately there was a limited time to do the animation and by the time I had became somewhat competent in using Maya I was already well into the creation of the project. For example giving the palm trees curves in them was done towards the end. If I had known about this earlier I could have giving the palm leafs a better look using the same technique. Another limitation I found was that due to time constraints the animation passes by far quicker than I had originally wanted. The major downside to this was allot of the detail was lost . This is the most evident in the underwater scene when you barely notice the coral.

The process of creating the animation was very interesting and proved to even be fun. The hardest part was freezing the animation and not adding more things to it. I don't think it would ever be done if you I had and infinite amount a time since there is so much to learn and cool stuff I could do.
